Welcome to Malmö Folkdansare (Malmö Folk Dancers)!
We are a voluntary organisation aimed at passing on Swedish folk culture and creating a space where people of all ages can meet. We do this primarily by means of our dance activities but also in many other ways, such as games, music, songs, costumes, crafts, food culture, customs and traditions.
We have groups for folk dance as well as baroque/court dances, and these are divided into different age groups.
Our youth groups dance on Mondays:
17.45 – 18.45 – Juniors (from 4 years old)
17.45 – 18.45 – Children & intermediate (from 7 years old)
18.00 – 19.00 – Intermediate & youths (from 10 years old)
18.00 – 20.00 – Youths (from 13 years old)
Every third week those that are 16 years old and up dance until 21.15
